Rating Suburbs
 

Just and enquiry as to whether anyone has a good link to rating of suburbs around Australia, in regards of quality of housing, standard of living etc. I think I would be OK in Melbourne and Sydney with suitable places to live, but keen to know of the good and bad in Hobart.

Have you tried the Assiemove.com site it has loads of info, suburbs etc

Their was some comment on the Tasmania thread on Australia about this (prob a few pages back now). I recall glenorche being labelled a bad suburb of Hobart and Sandy bay a very nice one but pricey. Old rule of thumb I always use: never go for the cheapest, go for the best you can realistically afford that meets your requirements
