Rate of Exchange - AUD to GBP
Hi All
I wondered what people's views are on current rate of exchange.
I know that the rate of 1.6-1.7 has been pretty steady for this year so far - do you think it will remain at this for much longer?
Do you think the elections in August will have an impact on the rate?
I know that none of us can predict what's going to happen, but I'd still like to hear what people's views are!

my view is that there the exchange rate will bounce around between 1.60 and 1.90 for another year or two at least, possibly more.

I'd agree - if Oz's economy remains strong with high interest rates and the UK doesn't get itself out of debt soon together with low interest rates then nothing much is going to change.
It will change if I ever have to go back to the UK and I'll be stuffed a second time!
