Rang ASPC last night...
Rang ASPC last night to find out the status of the visa application. Did have major butterflies as all of the letters note not to call etc. However we are now at week 15, i know this is nothing when others are waiting at week 48 etc, but my job is supposed to have priority processing (nursing /midwifery).
Anyway spoke to a rather nice lady called Anne after 10min in the queue (am now an expert on how to pay and when to call the immingration department!!). As we were going through my query she noted that the ASCO code on the system was actually that of my husband and not mine!
Explains why we've not heard anything. She was actually very helpful and this morning i received a copy of the email she has sent to another officer asking them to change the codes and email me asap. Just thought i'd let you know that this, even for 'priority applicants', has happenend in case it helps anyone else
