Default Is it raining in Perth yet?

Just wondered, its about this time when Perth starts to enjoy the status of pretty much being the wettest city in Australia. 160mm + of rain next month.

We've had a wet April. Winter seems to have arrived 2 months early in Melbourne.

Been really miserable here in Adelaide this last week.
I know it shouldn't effect my mood but it does!

Last year was one of the coolest, wettest, grayest years on record in Perth. That winter weather just rolled on all through spring and a large chunk of the summer. Surely we can't get two years like that in a row.

I remember it well! Our stuff had arrived from the Uk and I had to wash every item of clothing becuase it smelt damp! It was horrendous trying to get it all dry!
The weather has been lovely recently, much like a UK summer but with no grey / wet days!

It poured for a bit on saturday morning, when Deej was playing footy, this will of course be a regular saturday morning thing, footy starts at 10 rain starts at 1030. But other than that no not much to speak of, but it has been really chilly in the mornings. Also summer was wetter than most i can remember and in general crap compared to usual. I'm a hot weather person so i need the clock turned back 20 years to when the summers were real 40 degree summers

Can you send some of it........ no......... ALL of it over here to NSW.

We are desperately in need of a month's rain.

Now that's not something I would have said in UK

This is an interesting site http://www.watercorporation.com.au/dams/dams_rain.cfm

As you can see, we've still got a long way to go to reach the May rainfall average...

Well I'm coming over for a reccie on 2nd June for 2 weeks - some family have decided to tag along for a holiday - have insisted on a rental with pool - I'm thinking they're going to be very disappointed as rain has to be their biggest bug bear of the English Weather! It hasn't stopped for the last two days either.
