Rain, rain, rain
This is the 3rd thread that I have posted tonight, it is pouring rain outside ( I do not mean a little brit shower), and with a metal roof sounds as if I am in the bath shower. It has been raining non stop for 6 hours.
The irony is that over the border in good old sunny Queenland (which by the way is getting even more rain) they will be still on water shortages as the dams were built in the wrong place and never get filled.
On the other hand where I live the supply dam is full behind Mt Warning and when the sun comes out next week (which it invariably will) and it gets back to 28 oC I can use as much water as I like.
Perhaps you Queenslanders would like to buy some of our water?

Can't work out this damn dam thing If it's chucking it down - which it is - where is it landing? Chap down the road had a pool put in a week or so ago. The concrete is still at curing stage. Tuesday morning it was dry. By 3pm today, it was happily overflowing down the road - pool is about 8 x 3

Hmmm - sounds like you guys need to move to Melbourne for some reliable hot weather with no rain. All this "we get proper weather" in Queensland - rubbish. Hasn't rained in Melbourne for at least 48 hours...and it's 33 degrees tonight...

Perhaps since you're having so much rain at your place we should build the dam where your house is?
