Good day all,

Me and my wife are considering moving to Australia for me it would require immigration, not an issue as my wife is an Australian citizen as is my daughter. I am eligible for a partner visa so the visa is no problem.

I am a train driver in the UK. I'll have only three years of experience when we are wanting to immigrate however I have an apprenticeship in Train Driving, level three.

My question is, would these skills be relevant in Australia? I am aware from my own research i'll require retraining, however would these skill hold any weight?
I am also after any help being pointed in the direction of companies that are worth following for updates.

I have created a LinkedIn account for when I am closer to making the move and have emailed some larger companies however have not had many replies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
