Radio Stations in Sydney
Can anyone recommend any?
Tried:
Triple M. Good music if you like Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Cold Chisel, and AC/DC and a tonne of the same commercials all of which are on continuous loop. Also, I couldn't figure out why the morning hosts had so little talent, then I discovered they were all ex rugby league players - I guess they are aiming for a particular market.
104.1 (not sure of the name). Good if you are 12.
TripleJ. No commercials - I like that but just a little too far off centre and a little dull.
I've ended up tuning into a bit of talk back radio, which is incredibly gripping. A little like Eastenders but I'm after something with a bit of music in there too.

Classic Rock 95.3 or if you can get it in your area Star 104.5 a central coast 'rock stars' station with very few ads. Both play a good selection of music, but no duff-duff stuff.
