Default radio in australia?

does a radio taken over from the uk work in australia or would one need to be purchased in australia.

It's not mars you know!

Yes a normal fm/am radio will work fine - doubt a DAB one will work though - maybe someone else can confirm...

Ok thanks just thought they work different signals etc which would allow you to not get it with a uk one but only an oz radio,thanks again

Hi Brian, yes they will work fine.

Where are you moving to? You will be able to use FM & MW no problem but I believe LW is much more of a European thing. SW of course works globally. I'm looking forward to rigging up my world band radio and trying to catch BBC WS aimed at SE Asia.

all me a geek (lol) but here is my hit list for my radio when I arrive in September

Radio Stations: Gold Coast & Brisbane

Brisbane

AM FM Gold Coast

FM AM
1692 kHz - Station X - 80s Music & Memories -
