can you tell me
will we be ok to have a few beers tonight as we have our meds tomorrow

need to calm nerves

Lace is right....higher levels of sugar (from the beer) may lead to the doctor recommending further tests....not a problem if its just beer but would probably lead to delays and cost.....have a glass of water and a pint of whisky tomorrow night ;-)

Hi Jan,
You will be absolutely fine to have a couple of beers tonight. It will make no difference to your medical!! A couple of beers will not make you have sugar in your urine! Just don't have so many that you go to your medical stinking of booze - that makes us suspicious if people smell of alcohol at medicals!!
