Ok thanks for the offer.

We have visa's and are hoping to come to Perth in September.

My husband is a bricklayer (a good one!) and also a plasterer. Has not worked on site for a while does mainly renovating work.

Will he get a job? Is the building trade still quiet?

Thanks

Mandy

A word of advice for any tradies.

Do your homework first and find out what the licensing requirements for your state are BEFORE you arrive and begin that process.

Everything in Australia is regulated it seems and you need a license to do pretty much anything.

Otherwise have a look at the whining threads from people who just thought that it was enough to pass the migration skills test to be allowed to work in Australia which isn't the case.
