Question Question on work experience...

Right here goes, just sent off TRA...Thinking of applying nearer the end of year for the visa.....

Problem- hubby is the main applicant (Fitter), if after we have sent in our visa application, does he have to stay in that profession or can he leave and do something totally different that isnt 60 points on the trades list.

He may have an opportunity to work abroad and be sound engineer for a few months....But we dont want to mess up the application

Any advice

Tracey

In my limited knowledge ,Its work exp. till date of application matters. Not after that. Dimia acknowledges that ppl are multi-talented. So, one person can work as many skills as he wants but the one he applies for has to be relevant and upto mark for consideration. Differnt skills have different time of consideration. You can check yours at dimia website.

If its just taken into consideration just up to when you apply that would be fantastic...... has done all the work experience bit, been in the trade for well over 10 years...

Just wanted to know if he was free to make a change when application goes in....
