question on skilled visa 47E...
the visa process askes the question if you are married, divorced, engaged, de facto relationship etc.... my partner (of 2 years) proposed on boxing day (which I accepted ....... but he is not divorced yet - how do we stand?!!!!!

Do you live together in a defacto relationship? In that case you should be OK. Presumably one of you is applying and the other will be included on the application? You might just want to check what the current situation is but 8 years ago I got my spouse visa on the basis of being in a de facto relationship with someone who was then still married to someone else. That wasn't a problem with immigration. We obviously still had to prove that our relationship was genuine etc but the fact that he was technically still married to someone else was no problem at all.
