Question re 484 visa and apprenticeship
 

Hi all,

I'm currently doing a level 3 plumbing and gas apprenticeship and was thinking of moving to Australia once I've gained my qualification (4 years) but I was wondering if my time doing the apprenticeship would count towards the 3 years of needing to be employed if that makes sense.

No, the experience starts from after you have qualified.

We’re still in the very early stages of looking into moving and I just wanted to ask re this visa, not sure if we’d have a better chance at the 190 visa or postponing the move but we have plenty of time to research and ask questions :)
