Hiya

We are packing our boxes this weekend to go with Excess Baggage. We will have about 20 boxes plus a cello (!). I have all the paperwork from them - including a security declaration/packing list. There is a box that has the space for the list of contents but it's only 2 thin lines and half a page wide!

My question is how much info do we need to put about what's in each box? For example can we just put Kids' toys or do we need to state that some are wooden? Do we need to put everything that's in a mixed box eg. nik naks or just call it assorted ornaments?

Thanks for your help. Any quick answers gratefully received as we're getting going after lunch!

"Assorted ornaments" "toys" "books" is usualyl acceptable, the exception being wooden stuff. Try and put all the wooden stuff together, and definitely mention it on any box that contains it. AQIS are less likely to open a large number of boxes if it looks as if you know what you're doing and have packed all the wood togeth, and declared stuff where necessary
