Hi,

I was just wondering about the last bit, i.e. the government bond bit and sequence of events.

I assume AHC write to you telling you something like "you have got a visa subject to proof of deposit of bond at Commonwealth bank for the value of AUD ***"

My question is, once I have the proof of deposit from my cousin, can I go to London AHC with
- my passport
- the proof of deposit and
- the letter saying "you have visa subject to proof of ......"
and get my visa then and there???

I'm trying to get around the fact that AHC seem to be a couple of months behind in opening mail (or so it is said). Last thing I need after 18 months is for the final document to lie unopened for a few further weeks.
