Default Queensland, the state where the judicial system let's you get away with anything

I thought the Queensland judicial system was as easy as it gets, but now it has sunk to a new low......:curse:

That does, indeed, stink! I wonder what you have to do to be banged up in Qld.

Upset the gov't of Beattie or Bligh, and only then get sentenced to a country club.
Or in the Pat Purcell case, admit assaulting staff, not be charged and allowed to retire with a massive pension.

Yes the penalty for jaywalking is probably life in prison given that pack rapists walk entirely free.

Truly shocking and unbelievable, a murder charge being dropped because previous juries could not make a decision.

No not really. The defendant was tried 3 times and on three occasions the jury could not make a decision. Prosecution need to prove guilt "beyond reasonable doubt".
Or are you advocating that if a defendant is charged with murder that they should be tried an infinite number of times until the prosecution finally secure a conviction regradless of the defendant's guilt or not?
Unless you were present in court you do not know all the material fatcts - only those which the newspapers choose to print.
