quarantine times?

quarantine times?
I have been reading on here that quarantine is 30 days for dogs on export from the Uk to Australia.
Now... we live in Germany (army) and could be leaving from here. Does anyone know if this changed the length of stay for our dog in quarantine?
At the moment we are considering moving back to the Uk next October just for a couple of months to see family and say goodbye to everyone, but am now concerned as I understand our dog has to have been in the UK for 6 months prior to the move to be exported from the UK. Is this correct?

read up the pdf files, the 30 days is the *minimum* and generally depends on the rabies test. The time can go up to 115 days.

Thankyou for the information, that's answered all our questions. Looks like we will be staying in Germany till we go, family won't be too chuffed as we had agreed to go back and spend time with them before we go. Unless one of them agree to keep the dog with them for a couple of months. Got some serious thinking over to do.
