In the theory test in Queensland they have a lot of their questions on the give way rules which are different from the UK so I would advise you to really swat up on these in particular. The test is multi choice but some of the answers it could be any of them. The best thing to remember with the give way rule is give way to the vehicle on the right regardless on which direction you are going in ie if you come to an unmarked cross roads and you are going straight on and a vehicle to your right is wanting to either go straight on or turn onto the same road as you, you must stop and give way to it. It is slightly different to our rules in the UK and can catch you out in the test.
I passed second time but it took hubby 4 times he just couldn't get out of the UK way of thinking!!! At least you can go every day until you pass.
Also well done on getting your visa sorted at last I bet you are very relieved and good luck in Oz.

Yeah - Very glad about the visa situation.
What has made you and your hubby come back to the UK?

Just didn't settle at all, new very early on it would never be home to me. Hubby also struggled to get permanent work, plenty of casual but you can't buy an home on that. Little girl was also very unhappy and we couldn't get into her into kindy or pre-school (no places). Australia is a lovely country just not for me.

Glad your all happy to be back - its pointless prolonging the truth. The good thing is you left when it felt right and you didnt wait until your memories of the place turned into sour ones!
All the best for your new life in the UK
