And neither of them seem to realise, at least publicly, that Joyce played them to give him cover to do what he liked without chance of strikes. They should be focusing on getting him out, and preferably behind bars.

Otherwise:
  1. He will quickly shift even more capability overseas.
  2. Qantas workforce moral will plummet.
  3. The Australian bits will be closed down within 5 years. Qantas Asia will service the Australian marketplace from its SE Asia hub.
They need a plan, a joint plan, and fast.
