Can anyone tell me if there are any decent pubs/clubs in Perth (northern suberbs)? as me and hubby do like a good sunday session ! when i say clubs, i mean a social clubs not nightclubs. We belong to one and find they are a really good way of making friends.

P.S also are they child friendly?

the old bailey used to get alot of air time on here

Went to the Old Bailey once a few years ago when we were on holiday, seemed ok , but very big and not much of an atmosphere.

Just wondered if there were any kind of pubs/clubs with pool team , darts team etc.

( a kind of friday night out with the lads kind of place !)

There's a good Sunday session at The Cottesloe on a Sunday if you're under 18!! lol

The Aussies aren't really into that kind of scene here. There are one or two pubs like the Old Bailey (mentioned) but around $7 a pint !!!!!!! so can be expensive.

We tend to go to The Boat at Mindarie but no darts, just a pub/restaurant. It's the ONLY place that we've found thet kids stay after 8pm.

You have to let go of the life you had in the UK if you come here. It's a new start with everything different from what you're use to in the UK.

The Whitfords Sea Sports Club at Ocean Reef is very family friendly, nice food, pool table, good atmos, nice people.

My wife and I were thinking of going down to join this club, we went down the other week and spoke to the bar manager, Carl I think his name was, he seemed very nice. We have just moved into Ocean reef last week and at the moment are wading our way through all the boxes that the nice men from crown relocations left us.

They allow children in which at the moment is a must for us as we don't exactly have the baby sitters we used to have.

We keep meaning to join. I can see the place from my chair in the living room, it's only a few hundred yards away.
