Pubs in and around Cairns
Hi, moved to Clifton Beach about 18 months ago. Kept going into town (Cairns) and sampling the different boozers. Socialising being higher on the agena than decor etc. I found The Pier to be quite nice (since been changed ) and The True Blues on Sheridan Street to be to my liking. However, it got to be a bit of a carry on traveling in and out, and so ended up in the Tavern and Surf Club at Palm Cove.
Now living at Yorkeys and only having the boat club thing (which seems very quiet and cliquey), have decided to start venturing into town again, without a doubt The True Blues will be a port of call, but can anyone recomend any others (not The Railway!). Not too much of a posers type of place if possible.
Cheers for any recomendations.
This could turn into the mother of all pub crawls for me. With a bit of luck
