Default public transport from The Vines?

We're hoping to move down to Perth soon and like the look of The Vines but not sure how easy it is to get to the city. Is the nearest train link the Joondalup line? How easy would it be to get a bus to the city?

We've also looked at the Perth hills area such as Kalamunda,Bedfordale,Darlington and have the same question about there too.

Hubby might get a company car but we'd like to be able to manage without it.

Default Re: public transport from The Vines?

www.transperth.com.au will tell you about public transport. Although, it doesn't look like there is public transport available from The Vines to Perth from the search I did. Nor is there from The Vines to Joondalup. Maybe look at coming from Ellenbrook instead.

Just a personal opinion, but The Vines is sort of in the middle of nowhere and very new, so not much infrastructure yet. If it were me, I would consider places like the hills before The Vines area. Only my opinion, though. I know lots of people live out there and love it.
