Public Transport in Bayside Brisbane
I intend staying in Wynnum in a short term rental on arrival.I intend sending my children to schools in Cleveland/Victoria Point(if we like it) I would like them to start school as soon as possible beginning of second term. Is it possible and easy enough to get to this area by bus as my wife will not have access to car when I am in work?

Re: Public Transport in Bayside Brisbane
There are trains between Wynnum & Cleveland. Vicky Point would require a bus though.
Try the journey planner on the Translink site if you have the address of schools you are thinking of to see how the journey is: http://www.translink.com.au/ You could be looking at 1 hour plus on public transport from Wynnum to Vic Point. |

http://www.whereis.com/?id=307DD9B198E861 From the train station to the primary school it's 0.9km. http://www.whereis.com/?id=307DF29AE95A7C Not quite in the same direction though. So not sure if the older one would have to walk the younger one. |

I don't think walking is that bad. On the map it shows the walking distance as 1.2 from the train station to the high school.

Vicky Point is more of a trek and would probably mean a train and a bus journey or a couple of buses, but it's doable. Hope that helps Love Rudi x |
