Default Psychology jobs for graduates in Australia

Does anyone know about the job prospects for Psychology graduates (from the EU) in Australia. My wife will have just finished her masters in clinic psychology when we depart for Oz and she is worried about i). having her qualifications recognised and ii). the job prospects for a foreign graduate.

If anyone know any good links to such info it would be great.

cheers

This has cropped up before so a search may be helpful.

A psychologist can practice in Australia on the basis of a first degree so she should have no problem with a masters.

Many jobs are advertised a 'generic' workers Ie. Psychologist, Nurse, social worker etc. Especially in the Mental health field.

These posts are paid at the same rate despite profession. Psychologists are not paid particularly well in Australia.

Try somewhere like here for job prospects:

Good luck
