PS2 and XBox - do they work in oz?
apologies, bit of a boring question, just want to know is it worth sending them over, are they compatible (or whatever the word is) over in oz?

Yup work fine, just need a plug change or adaptor.

Will need an adapter for the mains supply or local lead etc

Yes, as stated they work fine BUT you cannot buy Australian games because they do not work. You could have games sent over from the UK when they come out.

Aussie ps2 games work over here on a uk model.....
well they do on ours anyway....

I'm surprised, they didn't on ours (Xbox only) and Xbox e-mailed us with a details response as to why ! It may have had something to do with the fact we had bought it a month before we left (a newer model). Either that or we were totally conned !

we purchased our ps2 the week our shippers were comin.... so it was around 10 weeks old when we got to use it......
only so we still had a ps2 in the uk so my kids wernt completely bored...... the only stuff they had at that point were clothes and a flightbag with a few small toys in..... that and the bonus .....free new release harry potter game which came with it.....thanx tesco.....we miss you!
