When you look at a site like www.cdwow.com (which is brill) you can buy legit CD/DVD and games from various regions but PS games are not regionalised on this. Would the US incompatability be caused by the voltage and frequencies being different? I have no idea really. PS: cdwow also have cdwow.co.uk, cdwow.ie etc etc and they ship internationally without postal charges (enough plugging for them!) Andrew |

Also couldn't get it to play foreign games, but to be honest, didn't try hard, weren't my ps2, but it could be cos it was a "back-up" copy, found it with all my cd's, forgotten to give it to a mate a while ago :p

Region Free PS2
Never tried it so can't recomend it. Just did a quick search and found it that's all. Let me know if it works ;) |
Re: PS2/ dvd compatability
Well, I asked the question is several games shops over here and they have all said the Oz PS2 games will play on a UK PS2 console. Have yet to try it though! They said most of their games came from the uk anyway.
