pros and cons of buyying a house
hi
when we arrive in Sydney want to but a house just up the coast ,
could any one please tell me how complicated and expensive it is compared to the UK .
the pros and cons and is it as long a process as in the UK

I am not speaking of costs or any such thing just the process. It is just so complicated in the UK and it can collapse at any time up to contract signing, which can be months.
In Aus (as a rule) you make an offer, accepted, contract signed, or auction contract signed immediately. You know exactly when you get your house.
Good luck for buying, Sydney can be expensive.
