i'm reformed from all this wanton disregard for societal propriety these days i hasten to add ... this was in my misspent youth!1. It can get extremely humid.
2. It gets dark very early on an evening. A lack of daylight savings time does not help this.

It gets bright, nice and early for those early risers, (never a dark morning) and it gets dark nice and early to help those early risers get to sleep early
