Hi all,

firstly I am sorry for posting this but I have searched many times and cannot find what I need - dont know if it is just me being thick!

I am hopefully going to be working at mater mothers hospital Brisbane and am in the process of looking for areas to live. I have looked at maps etc but my sense of space/direction is seriously appalling! and I am stuck....

We either fancy the traditional 4x2 or a very small acreage, have 2 kids age 8 & 10. don't really want to commute more than 30-45 mins to work. don't mind not being near a beach but would like to have the option to drive there if we want.

can anyone give me any ideas as to which areas to look at or avoid?
