I notice there are a number of professional property finding services around, who claim to search for properties for you. Personally I prefer doing my own research. I was just wondering if anyone has any views or has used one?????

If its free why not if not then lots of estate agents on the web who sell and lease just do a search should be links to earlier threads on this site also. I think one or two people on this site have arranged property this way but cant remember who.

Can pretty much organise it all via email.

Do you mean that they find a property for you, without your needing to even view it? Or do they simply filter them for you. If it's the latter, I would guess any real estate agent would do the same, though they might not filter too rigorously, to get more details into your palm.

As you use the term "professional", I'm guessing it's the former, where they help you find and purchase a property before you even get over there. It sounds risky to me, unless they have a rock solid guarantee of satisfaction.
