I have submitted my PR applications to obtain 6 months work visa to NZ. I have filed the application last week in Washington DC. Can anyone tell me how long it will take for the application to process .

Didn't you ask NZIS how long it would take? What did THEY say? I hope others respond to this, as I'd love to know what they've been told...

I've asked two different immigration officials in DC recently what the timeline is at the moment - one has told me could be 4-5 weeks if documentation/medicals all in order, the other told me 4-5 MONTHS (gave no explanation and I didn't ask for any - he wasn't very friendly). I've optimistically chosen to believe the first guy - he's much nicer all around, and, too, messages on this forum are suggesting that the London wait time is more in line with what he told me, i.e. weeks not months.

Having all documentation in order is key here. Someone posting message from UK today mentioned a 4 weeks delay because more documentation was required by NZIS
