Default Problems with immigration

Just discovered this forum which looks very good.

I have recently spent 8 months working in NZ on a working holiday visa. I have decided I would like to emigrate there and it turns out my family (Dad, Mum, Sister) would like to do the same.

However, my family failed to get in due to age and not quite sufficient funds.

I failed to get in under the points system due to not getting a degree when I was younger or professional qualifications which would have got my points right up.

We do not want to give up but talking to an immigration consultant he suggests we could make a joint application if we buy a business (me and my Dad) and employ a kiwi.

Has anybody done this before and is it feasible. What do i need to look out for.

Basically just need to know from peoples experience how they have got immigration to NZ themselves when they have got nowhere near the points needed under the system.

Thanks for your help.
