Private Schools in Melbourne
Where can I find comprehensive info on private schools in Melbourne, their location etc as this will influence where we decide to live. Am particulalry interested in primary schools at this stage.

The Mount Eliza area on the Mornington Pen has good kinders and primary schools. The Frankston Highschool has a very good reputation but you have to live in the school zone to go there, and even then it's not guaranteed. Frankston South is a lovely area. It's Frankston North that has the bad rep.
There's also Mt. Eliza secondary which I don't know alot about heard it's ok but there's a few private, Peninsula School & Toorak College.

Of course, Geelong has a great reputation but this school seems most like the British-type class system in Australia that I've come across. It may open doors and create opportunities for it's students, but I'm not sure the educational standards are as high as some of it's competitors.

Certainly, loads of excellent private schools, but also lots of excellent state schools as well and the accelerated program means that exceptional students can progress quicker.
