Try this site www.iselect.com.au . Be aware however that some of the larger companies eg Medibank Private & MBF arent included in that site.

So who did everyone go with?

I looked at HCF and they worked out at about $215 pcm after the tax rebate for a fully optioned policy ( the best they had). I looked at another one which was part of bupa (bupa.com.au) and they were about the same but seemed to have more exemptions/restrictions.

I havent signed yet - they have an offer on their website for a free 2 weeks cover-note so I took that whilst I look around .

I want gold-plated - used to have full cover from employer in UK but Aussie T's & C's dont include it :-( so I need to buy it for ourselves - anyone got any experience?.

Those quotes are for family of 4 , including the 'special' loading for just arrived immigrants. (makes it cheaper because w'ere over 30)

Can't really help spalen, we are with HBA but its supplied through work as part of Dagboys package, so we didnt get a choice, just took what was offered.

ABC doesnt even have private health cover, so hes no help either .
