Private and company pensions
Just wondering, does the issue of private and company pensions get complicated when emigrating to Oz.
What happens to funds in a company pension? Are they simply suspended until an Australian employer is found, with company pensions?
As for private pensions, can one continue to keep it running in England (still contributing) even when in Australia?
I know I should pseak to my bank and financial advisors about this, but I was just wondering if anyone could shed light on this first.

This area is very complicated and there are all sorts of implications for tax etc.
Definitely a subject for specialist advice.Probably too complicated for your bank or usual advisor.
Try the search facility as it has been covered many times before.
Good Luck
