Printing in Melbourne

Hi, sorry if I have put this in the wrong place, it has been almost 4 years since I last went on this site! We are relocating to Melbourne from Perth and hubby is a binder and finisher in the printing game. Can anyone please give us the name of some good, big printing companies??? Much appreciated!!!

Hi there
My OH works for a good printing company (based in Cheltenham). I'll PM you the details. No idea if they're looking for staff in his area, but you never know. OH is in pre-press.

Perth has basically run its course for us..... To be honest we have found it a really boring place to live... I suppose we just haven't settled. We have tried and moved sooo many times, built 2 houses thinking that if we have the house of our dreams we will be ok.. but no.... house is wonderful and we still feel the same. I flew over to Sydney over the Easter break for a nosey but aren't sure. Our house is on the market at a silly price (Perth prices are very silly) and we are going to land in Melbourne first and see if we like it! When we first were looking to emigrate we were thinking of Melbourne but we had friends going to Perth.... hindsight is a lovely thing! Fingers crossed it will all work out!!!!!

I work for a company in Adelaide who produce a catalogue for a large SA, Vic & Tas department store.
They have their catalogue printed by a large printer called Hannanprint. I know they print about 1m plus copies so they are quite a big printer.

Hope this is of some help.

Graham
