Printing Companies
 
Hi all, i have a mate moving back to Australia from UK and fancies giving Brisbane a shot. Does anyone know how busy the printing game is here and job vacancies.

Any help and advice will be appreciated.

There's plenty of design jobs around, is he a designer/printer/finisher?

Apparentley he uses a lithograhic printer using a heidelberg gto 52 single colour machine if this means anything to you.
Who do you work for Smudge, are you on the look out for employees.

There's a few printers that still use that machine, he should pick up something. The money is best in Brisbane, I work for a printer outside the city.

My brother is a printer and the industry at the moment is in dire straits, not a great time to be looking for work as a printer, the industry is over populated with printers and not enough jobs, my brothers job has been on the line for the last few months and he is very worried about it. :(
