Exactly as quoll above. There are many towns few want to relocate due to extreme criminal activities and dangerous. (youth crime, breaking into houses, drugs and anti social behaviour. Violence has been increasing in WA city schools as well. This issue was raised recently. Better place for family? We in Perth have the biggest use of methamphetamine in Australia. Yet again today yet another house explosion and male discovered walking in the with street serious burns. This is all too common these days, and I'd wager a bet, we only get to hear of the ones where a life has been lost or seriously injured. There is a multi billion plus dollar industry and this stuff is everywhere. It is seriously compromising the rural regions. Not just a case of poor, less desirable suburbs, but being manufactured in our best suburbs. It is not being addressed.
Our hospital system is in dire straights with ramping a constant reality and stretched health system. Very far removed from the picture preferring to be painted by the inept government in place on a state level at the moment.

Besides rentals are very hard to obtain and you really need to consider the neighbourhood you are moving into. Anything on the market sells quickly in my locality for a good price. (not the most 'desirable' shall we say though.

What potential migrants really need to ask themselves is WHY. Why is WA trying so hard to portray itself as the answer to all life's problems? Why don't people already in Australia fill these positions? Why is there an ever increasing queue of people leaving and returning to Europe, UK, Canada?

Because there aren’t people in Australia to fill these positions. There’s a massive labour shortage in every state/territory. Pales though compared to Germany where they have 750,000+ job vacancies
