Price of transporting
I tried using the search button but there are so many posts I thought it would be easier to post a new thread. How much have people been charged/quoted for taking one cat from England to Oz? Does this charge include pick up from home or do you take the cat to the airport? Does the charge include transport to the quarantine site and do you have to make your own arrangements for shipping the cat to your home after quarantine?

our cat leaves in 10 days time, cost approx £1500, Glasgow to Sydney, includes pick up from home and transport to quarantine, but not quarantine costs.
we are having to arrange to pick her up once her time is over, but have found a company who will transport her, cost for quarantine and transport is just over 1,000 aus dollars.
