price of real estate in NZ
Its on Paul Holmes prime time programe this evening about NZ's out of control market.It has shown that last year Central Otago prices have risen 110% and Nelson 72 %.Even grim old Invercargill saw a 34% rise.
It is blaming the rises on low interest rates and a general under value of properties here in NZ.The outlook is that nothing is going to change,well not yet anyhow.The experts were saying that things will level but they will not go back down unless there is a huge change in interest rates.As always its anyone guess

Looks like it might pay off for us, having bought already! But we've bought a house we think we'd like to stay in 'til we retire & want to downsize - but you never know do you.
