Potentially dumb question about computer files :
Hi I was just wondering will all the links in my favourites still be there when I get to the other side? Or do I have to save em somehow :confused:

Save them to disk. Find the 'My favourites' directory on your PC and simply select them all and save to disk. I do it regularly along with my normal backups.

No. Your bookmarks are small files stored locally on your PC.
In any event only bring the PC if it's a near new top end machine, otherwise just bring the hard drive and any other "can't do without" bits and put them into a new box bought here. |
