We call these potato scones where I stay!!! Or tattie scones as Tass said!!!
So you can get something similar then - thats good because I was worried I would really miss these! Fritters are completely different - they are made of deep fried shredded potato and are very crispy. I love a roll and fritter out of the chippie.
So to sum up! Do the English call Tattie scones 'potato cakes'!!!???
