Costs: $47,000 for the complete concrete inground pool build which includes and ornamental sit in cave with waterfall and a jacuzzi (at the step end). The pool measures 12m x 3.8 (at the shallow end which is 1.2m deep) and 5.2m at the spa end (the deep end is 1.8m deep). This price also included ~ the laying of pavers, the finish to the pool, the pool fencing, white pebbles around the outer edges to finish off the look, the rock work, LED pool lighting, spa section incl. blower pump, all the main pool pumpwork and pipework, chlorinator and general gubbins and the wiring for the electrician. (Plus - they knocked the corner of the roof during excavation denting the guttering and moving the roof tiles - extra cost to the pool builder for replacement guttering, repointing the roof - oh and a fence panel which got dented along the way).

Extras: pavers, black line tiles bottom of pool, water level tiles - $4500 from AMBER

4 Crimsafe screens for windows which open onto the pool behind the pool fencing $1800 (which also included a main door screen on the patio which is fitted with a dog flap - this is not behind the pool fencing but was a nice to have so that in the summer the dog can wander round the garden as he wants to and the screen door is security locked so that we can leave the inner door open).

Electrician - fitments of all electrics to correct voltage, installation of 6 outside powerpoints, installation of a path light $1700

Decorative Lighting - Bunnings - $150

Wood etc needed to enclose the pumps and chlorinator and store hoses, nets and assorted pool chemicals and tools $300 (built by OH)

Replacement lawns and landscaping to side of the house where the excavators chewed up the ground to complete the intial digging $1800

Front of house fencing - the house is a new build so fencing was not present at front - now that the digging etc is finished the front of the house needs two small section of fence to secure the garden and pool areas - $900

Extras - pool thermometer, Bunnings Guide to owning and caring for swimming pools, catch net (leaves and floating debris) $65

TOTAL COST = $58,215 (£28,293 or thereabouts)
looks fantastic mate....now all you need is the heat....ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!
