Default Post Visa Validation

I landed with my family in Melbourne in the month of March for visa validation. Currently I am working with a multi-national company in Dubai, which pays well and I would like to continue with this company for at least 4 years. My question is can my wife and kids go to Melbourne stay there for 2 + years and apply for citizenship? will this help me in get a citizenship without meeting the 2 years requirement. Also My in-laws are willing to come down to Melbourne to help my wife setup home in Melbourne, on what visa can I take them to Melbourne. Thanking all of you for your continued support and guidance - Kris

You've more chance of getting an answer to an immigration question if you ask on the immigration forum.
