Post a good experience you had in Australia.
When we were there, we left our car door wide open and my wife's bag was on the seat and a gent shouted over to us, that we had left the door open and not to leave bags in our car, I thought it was really good of him.:nod:

Numerous major ops with Medicare. Seriously impressed (so far;)).

I accidentally left my passport in the men's loos at Adelaide airport. It was immediately handed in to security staff, who brandished it at me as I approached the queue for my plane and gave me a good telling off.

Glad to hear that, do you have to pay anything for them, or do you have to get extra insurance? |

The fact that you can get into see medical specialists quickly, albeit at a fee but that is no different from going private in the UK - however, it is just a lot quicker here and you can chose who you want.

Took me less than 2 minutes to realise, but I spent another 10 minutes desperately phoning friends for advice. Then my plane started boarding, so I decided to join the queue and take my chances. I was on the verge of a heart attack at the tender age of 30.
 The reason I asked, is precisely because of this reply, I was imagining that happening to us and on the verge of a heart attack describes it perfectly. |

Two operations under the medicare system. Absolutely free, didn't wait, fantastic hospital staff (whatever their role) AND, even better than that, the food was good! Good follow up care as well.
Our trip from Adelaide to Alice on the Ghan. The trip back in the car. Few people but the ones we met were very friendly. I have a good experience most days. :) |

Building a house to a design we wanted.
Planting a new garden and have it grow so fast. Discovering the rainforest at the back of our property. It was in accessible when we bought it, so we didn't realise what we had until we'd cleared away all the lantana. Having a wallaby family living on our patch. |
