Is this possible?

Is this possible?
I left Australia last year as my 457 long stay visa was about to run out, and I was going to the U.S to get married.
Everything did not go to plan and now I am back in the U.K and my old Australian Company have just e.mailed me to say that they would like me back.
Am I aload to return to the same company a second time in the same position diffirent department?
Will all my banking details and tax file numbers be the same or will I have to start everything from scratch as I do not know how long they are valid for without use?
Also would it be better to apply for a 2 year 457 instead of the full 4 years? as I have been told there is more chance of been accepted if you just go for the 2 yrs then re-new.
Thankyou to any replys.

Your Tax File Number will never change, your bank details shouldn't change.
