Portable Radiator, do I need to bring?

Hi

This may seem like a stupid question but I've read a few threads on here about how cold it can sometimes get in Oz, I'm trying to sort out what to take/what to get rid of etc. I have a portable radiator and am wondering whether I need to bring it. When I'm reading threads such as woodburners, radiators and things like that, just wanted some advice on whether I will actually need it. I'm moving to Sydney.

Cheers for your help.

You will need heating 3 months of the year, so bring it or buy it here...about $100 - $150 for an oil filled electric one.

Yes!!! Bring them! I live in Brissy and use them here in the winter. Reverse cycle air conditioner work well, but the ducted ones heat the whole house, so they are useful if you just want to keep one area warm.

Bring them we brought 2 over and they were really useful in the kids bedrooms over the winter, or what they call winter over here. Amazing how cold 18 degrees can feel:rofl::rofl:

I would agree - you may as well bring it as you'll get bugger all for selling it, it won't add much to your moving bill, and they are expensive here.

We only had heating on 2-3 nights last year in Sydney but it can occasionally get a bit nippy.

If you are a big girl's blouse - bring it. If not - you'll be fine.

There is no cold in oz - only varying degrees of unwarm.

The worst thing is, the longer you are here the colder the unwarm feels. Last night I was shivering as it was 'only' 18 degrees...
