Default Port of Brisbane

I will be taking my car to the Port of Brisbane but don't know how to come back to the city. Translink comes up with a blank. Any suggestions other than getting taxi to the nearest train station/bus stop?

If you are dropping it at one of the car transporter places, you may be in the middle of no-where, from memory of when we picked up our 2nd car.

Looks like a taxi to Wynnum North Railway Station is my best option.

Definitely a taxi. The Port is hopeless for any other public transport.

The port of brisbane used to do a free shuttle service to Wynnum.

Call them on 3258 4888

or perhaps call the visitor centre on 3258 4677.

Does anyone know if there are any car hire places at Port of Brisbane as we will arrive in Australia via the port (following our 6 week cruise)?
Thanks.

Hi, most cruise ships don't dock at the Port of Brisbane (Fisherman's Islands)they dock at the Portside Wharf Cruise Terminal on the northshore further down the river towards the city. I would imagine it would be much easier getting transport from there.
