Default Port Adelaide

Hi All,

Just got confirmation of accomadation with the South Australian meet and greet service, their sending us to Port Adelaide. So if you have any info on the surrounding area it would be a great help, we fly out on the 02/03/03.

Cheers Colin

Old style ornate buildings, with vreandas and railings, wider streets. Seemed a bit dead (no obvious shopping centre), but I think they are seriously redeveloping that area.

On certain days (incl Sundays) there is a huge indoor market which was good, and we took a boat from there down the river and saw dolphins. A great day out.

Convenient for anywhere really.

Sounds alright. Let us know as we might do the same.
Cheers

I love the Fishermans Wharf market - open Sundays and public holidays, the $2 port river cruise, the train museum, aviation museum, and a military vehicle museum - and Port Adelaide is great for a visit, but personally it is not somewhere that I would choose to live.

That's my personal opinion.

The area is starting to become quite popular for the house hunter and it does have a good shopping centre.
