Pool pump/barracuda
Putting electricity costs aside, is it better to run these things at night or during the day?
The kids hate swimming with the barracuda going.
I was told that running the pump at night (salt water pool) means that the chlorine produced has a better effect as there is no sunlight to denature it (makes sense)

Hi Andrew,
I am not sure if running it at night would be better or not, it may be cheaper if the electricity rates are cheaper after a certain time in the evening though.
Why not just unhook it at the pool skimmer basket when the kids are swimming as it will just revert to filtration, when the kids have finished plug it in again!, too easy Hey, even the kids could do that as long as they are not very young?.
